渝升的物体实验室 | Yusheng's Object L*a*b* 恩格斯写道：“一个伟大的基本思想，即认为世界不是既成事物的集合体，而是过程的集合体，其中各个似乎稳定的事物同它们在我们头脑中的思想映象即概念一样都处在生成和灭亡的不断变化中。” 一个物体，或目的，随着时代和社会环境的变迁自然会被人们赋予不同的功能和意义，从而在不同的时空中发挥不同的作用。我的物体实验室所寻找的正是这样一种共产主义的设计思想，去探讨一切事物，一切定义的暂时性。 “The great basic thought,” Engels writes, “that the world is not to be comprehended as a complex of ready-made things, but as a complex of processes.” An object, or “object”, naturally undergoes changes in its functions and meanings as time and social environments evolve, thus taking on different roles in different times and spaces. What I am seeking with my object lab is precisely such a communist design philosophy, to explore the temporality of all things and definitions.
